3 DAY FESTIVAL WEEKENDER IN THE HEART OF MID-WALES WITH 4 OUTDOOR/INDOOR ARENA'S WITH OVER 25 OF THE BEST DJ'S, PRODUCERS AND "LIVE" DANCE ACTS THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER, ONLY 500 TICKETS AVAILABLE SO BE QUICK  !!!!!!

The Freestylers are the dancefloor sensation of the new millennium, a fast moving, electro-rocking monster movie that is going to hit your house like a tidal wave, and wash all your preconceptions out of the door.

When they play live, there’s up to twelve of them on the stage alone, guitars and a full rhythm section, DJ Jay-Rock, crowd pleasers MC Tenor Fly, MC Navigator and new vocalist Valerie M, a breathtaking whirl of sound and vision which leaves the audience as exhausted as the band. In fact, the dance is almost as important to the Freestylers as the music, and while break beats have been threatening to return to the dancefloor for years, the Freestylers are the first band to actually do something about it and were promptly proclaimed Best Band at the 1998 Muzik Magazine Awards.

On record, too, the Freestylers attack your feet first, as the world discovered when the band’s first album, We Rock Hard, hit the rocks. A blast of sheer sonic exuberance nailed to the phattest beats and rhythms around, "We Rock Hard" has already been proclaimed one of the dying century’s most dazzling, dizzying explosions, 13 songs and one long party and 500,000 sales later the band are about to drop their stunning new Album.

Freestylers producers Aston Harvey and Matt Cantor got together in 1993, through talking about the music they were into — electro, breakbeats, Afrika Bambaataa and the whole old school hip hop culture. But it wasn’t long before they took their obsessions into the studio, running off what would eventually become the Freestylers’ first U.K. single, "Drop The Boom" – initially released on the small Street Plastic label pre- Freskanova. Like Matt says, "we plunder samples like no man's business."

"We’re into really instant music," says Aston. "Too many dance artists are making jazz albums, because they feel it’s the mature thing to do." And the upshot of that is — "there are plenty of great home listening albums. But not enough proper party ones." And for the Freestylers, proper parties are what it's all about.

SONNY WHARTON......

“One of the finest new producers around with quite simply, amazing production skills. Labels flying after him, his own super cool club night and, all in all, someone we are going to be hearing about for a very long time to come” – DMC Magazine

The last couple of years for Sonny Wharton have been phenomenal! Described by The Shapeshifters as “one of the most prolific producers out there” he’s remixed the likes of Fatboy Slim, Frankie Knuckles and The Temper Trap. Releasing singles on Size, Toolroom, Spinnin’ and Skint Sonny’s received regular support from house music heavyweights Pete Tong, Steve Angello, Roger Sanchez and Mark Knight whilst continuing to push his own label Whartone Records and dominate the download charts.

As a DJ Sonny shot to fame by winning a DJMag mix-tape competition for Renaissance leading to sets in Ibiza at Amnesia, a weekly residency at the infamous Manumission and Mixmag announcing Sonny as one of their original “Future Heroes” alongside the likes of Nic Fanciulli.

Over the last few years Sonny’s racked up slots for the who’s who of club land including sell-out shows at Space, Pacha and Ministry Of Sound. He’s held a monthly residency in Barcelona, regualrly rocks the likes of Global Gathering, V Festival, Wickerman and Isle Of Wight Festival and played to over 1 million people at The Berlin Love Parade. In addition to this Sonny has done no less than 3 guest mixes for Radio 1 as well as countless live interviews and has featured on Channel 5’s ‘The Gadget Show’ and MTV.

Renown for his technical abilities both in the studio and DJ booth, Sonny is the UK ambassador for leading industry brands Ortofon and Ecler, showcasing just what their technology is capable of in the right pair of hands. He regularly appears for them at international trade shows and features prominently in their advertising campaigns both in press and on screen.

With Toolroom knighting Sonny “a certified member of the house music elite”, the continued success of his own ‘Sound Of Whartone’ events in London and forthcoming collaborations with X-Press 2 and DJ Chus the future is looking bright!

“What makes Sonny stand out from the pack is his combination of talent and determination” – DJ Mag

FIREFARM (live).........

Individually, the FireFarm three have spent years writing and touring in underground dance scenes of almost all types, in the UK and internationally. While collectively becoming frustrated about the narrow minded 'genreism' inherent in a lot of the scenes, and also the ignorance surrounding other types of electronic dance music outside of those scenes, they decided to come together and sculpt a mechanism to bridge the gap and thwart the 'Divide and conquer' dynamic that is subduing a deeper unity in the rave culture and on the dance floors.

The result is a high octane, genre spanning, euphoric yet explosive live show. Combining many styles of modern underground dance music with epic, verging symphonic builds and arrangement, and a variety of vocals styles, they deliver their music with the stage presence to match. With absorbing, interactive, simultaneous, synchronised visual projections, the live show hits hard and builds continuously thought the set in tempo and intensity until its grand apocalyptic finale.

Currently FireFarm are dividing their time between touring clubs, festivals and parties, and writing new material in the studio ready for their forthcoming debut album.

Metrik (aka Tom Mundell) is fast becoming one of the most talked about names in drum and bass. For someone relatively new to the scene, his unique style and production have quickly marked him out as a name to watch in 2011 and beyond. When Mixmag exclaim “if there was one artist putting his hand up to be the next Sub Focus, Metrik could well be that man”, it's time to sit up and take notice.

Back in 2007 Metrik released the anthemic soulful refrain of 'Your World' on Intrinsic Recordings, it was this which captured the attention of some of the scenes biggest names from Bad Company and Pendulum to Fresh and London Elektricity. It was to become arguably one of the biggest tracks of the year and lead to Tom being contacted by Futurebound and being signed to Viper where he is now a key player on the label.

The following year, Metrik released his first single on Viper – the epic ‘Moving On’ / ‘Stranger’ which was to become his second single to reach number one in the download charts. The end of that year saw Metrik unleash the huge ‘Technicolour’ which received major radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Hugh Stephens, Annie Mac and Colin Murray as well as all of the heavyweight drum & bass DJs. This culminated in Radio 1's poignant use of the track as a sound bed on their coverage of Barrack Obama's victory speech on Colin Murray's show to breathtaking effect.

The pace quickened somewhat in 2009 with a run of devastating releases, including ‘True Believer’ (a collaboration with Australian stars, Shock One and Phetsta), ‘Your World’ (once again a Beatport chart No.1) and Metrik’s take on the timeless rave bomb ‘Anthem’ (championed by High Contrast, The Utah Saints and Brookes Brothers to name but three). The year then ended with an almighty bang as 'Forward Approach' and 'Sunset' appeared on the acclaimed Viper Recordings 'Acts Of Mad Men' artist album (Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 Album).

2011 has proved to be Metrik's true breakout year, taking him to new heights in the world of drum & bass. Starting with the smash #1 hit collaboration with Futurebound, 'Brave New World' and 'Sabotage' (both hitting #1 on Beatport's D&B chart!), followed by 'Sunset 2011' on Matrix & Futurebound's 'Worldwide: 001" LP, and 'More Than Words' on Viper's second annual 'Drum & Bass Summer Slammers 2011' album. Now to cap off the year, Metrik releases his most complete work to date, the epic 'Between Worlds EP' featuring 'T-2000', 'Genesis', 'I See You (ft. Kathy Brown)', 'Between Worlds', and 'Nightdrive'.

As a DJ, Metrik has worked passionately to craft a name for himself behind the decks with his energetic, uplifting and euphoric sets incorporating styles from across the spectrum of dancefloor drum & bass.

With his name on the lips of the worlds biggest DJ’s, Metrik is much in demand as remixer, being the first port of call for artists such as Eric Prydz, Sasha, Stanton Warriors, Camo & Krooked, Funkstar Deluxe & Skepta who have called upon him looking for a fresh and innovative take on their biggest tracks.

About Dub Mafia (live)...

Since forming just two years ago, Bristol-based Dub Mafia have become one of the most popular dance acts in the UK, Europe and beyond.

The seven-piece band – who blend drum and bass, dub, dubstep, bashment, breakbeat and world music into their own unique sound (with a strict policy of ‘no backing tracks’ – ever) receive rave reviews wherever they play – from sweaty clubs to packed festivals:

 “Dub Mafia are ones to watch and we think they are heading for big things" www.vuguide.co.uk

 “Playing their third show in the past 24 hours, the drum and bass mob are destroying the tent with their dirty bass and dubstep rhythms … Wychwood is left shaken from the wobble bass and filthy drops … the band quickly amass the biggest crowd of the day at the BBC Introducing stage – the chairs and tables have even been pushed back to accommodate the all the dubsteppers” www.theregoesthefear.com

”The party was truly kicked off by Dub Mafia, who stirred up the first dance pit of the day with their rude boy (and girl) dub rock.” www.virtualfestivals.com

Fronted by singer Eva Lazarus, the band have won over hundreds of thousands of fans over the last year, including show-stealing performances on the main stage at Outlook in Croatia (Europe’s biggest drum and bass music festival), the Matscher Au Reloaded festival in Northern Italy and a special guest slot in Romania supporting the legendary LTJ Bukem.

2010 was just as busy, as they toured tirelessly through the UK, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Finland, Poland and Croatia.

Videos for four of their most popular tracks – Breakneck, Danger, Dub Specialists and Under The Radar – have racked up more than 800,000 views on Youtube.

Dan Guidance (live)..........

AKA Dan Guy, is a Bristol (UK) based DnB / Breaks producer

Dan started DJing in the late ‘90s, mixing and exploring various dance music genres, from Trance and Techno to Breaks and DnB.

By the early ‘00s, Dan had started making his own tunes, with basic software such as EJay, Rebirth and SF Acid, and a handful of free samples. As time went by, Dan has taught himself Ableton Live and acquired new hardware / software, polishing his sound, achieving a more professional quality, and is still learning new techniques and exploring new sounds.

To start with Dan’s tunes were more on the Techno / Trance / 4x4 side of the dance music scale. Then in 2010, taking influence from the warm up / wind down Liquid / Atmospheric Drum n Bass sets, played at the free parties of Mid Wales whilst growing in the 90s ( think Dom and Roland, Aquasky, Calyx and EZ Rollers ), Dan started to produce Drum & Bass. In the process Dan has thrown himself head first into the softer side of the DnB scene, producing original material, remixing other’s tunes and vice versa, hosting DnB radio shows and playing out live. Dan is always listening to new material in search for inspiration, whether it’s music from the present or past, well known or obscure.

Dan first release ‘ Introspection’ EP, came out in late 2010 on Point Audio. ‘Introspection’, a collection of emotion evoking Drum and Bass, showcased Dan’s atmospheric and emotive style, was met with positive reviews, encouraging Dan to cultivate this sort of DnB and write more tunes.

Dan’s next release ‘Its So Easy’ came shortly after, on the LMRecordings compilation ‘Liquid Killers EP’, a collection of atmospheric Liquid Drum & Bass tracks.

With forthcoming releases on Liquid Brilliants, DNBB Recordings and Asbo Audio, Dan is set to take the Liquid / Intelligent DnB scene to another level.

Check out Dan Guidance’s Soundcloud page for updates.. http://soundcloud.com/dan-guy

Dan has had radio / net support on Bassdrive, Liquiform, DnBRevolution BCR Radio, DnB Heaven, Transparency Radio, DeepRooted Radio, Radio Bomb FM among others.

What does the future hold for Dan Guidance? Dan is working on his latest atmospheric DnB album, ‘Soul Search’. Dan is also going to be working on a live DnB project with a drummer and singer. Dan is also continuing to learn new techniques (especially mastering) , gain new skills and explore new sounds, while expanding his home studio.

KICKFLIP .........

Bringing Steel City breaks straight to your ears, Kickflip is now established as one of breakbeat's most respected producer/DJs. Having played gigs both up and down the country and overseas, Bob's sets and music has inspired people all across the globe.

Kickflip's productions encompass a wide range of styles, taking in influences from funk, drum and bass, house, hip hop and old skool hardcore. Each track is polished to work as well at home as it does on the dance floor, with low down dirty grooves, intricate attention to detail and abnormal noises to distort your mind. Past releases have received support from Meat Katie, Chris Carter, The Drumattic Twins, General MIDI, Jay Cunning, Madox, Groove Diggerz, Vandal, Tayo, The Stanton Warriors and Annie Nightingale via her show on BBC Radio 1.

Obsessed with forward-thinking sound from an early age, Bob spent his formative years growing up in a quiet part of the middle of Wales, filling the time by teaching himself production on a ghetto home studio and practicing all sorts of turntable trickery. When he hit 19, he moved to Sheffield to seek bigger and better things. Through the back room of the legendary NY Sushi and Sheffield's premier Urban Gorilla night, he found the nu skool breaks sound, and was immediately hooked.

In the past Bob has worked with Lisa Marie Experience and Alistair Whitehead, and now in his Kickflip breaks guise has had a steady stream of releases on Akademia, Choo Choo Limited and the well respected Fat! Recordings, and has remixed for the likes of Groove Diggerz, Kid Blue, Future Funk Squad and Andy Page.
